Manaslu Spring Tippy is a spring-picked black tea grown near Manaslu, Nepal’s “mountain of the spirits.” Its deep straw-hued liquor has notes of dried lily, barley, and endive with subtle notes of honeysuckle and cane sugar. It is a wonderful afternoon tea that shines by itself.
The very first buds and new leaves are picked with precision in the mountain air, then withered, rolled, and naturally oxidized. Once the optimum flavor profile is achieved, the teas are wood-fired. The result is beautiful tea with silver curled tips.
One teaspoon per 8 ounce cup. Cool boiling water 2 minutes, then steep tea 3 - 4 minutes.
