Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy

1) Return window & eligibility

  • Our return window is 30 days from the delivery date.

  • To be eligible, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging.

  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer—use the return address below.

Non-returnable items

  • Opened tea or other perishable/consumable goods

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable/digital products

  • Certain health/personal care items (if applicable)

  • Items marked Final Sale

A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

2) Items we cannot accept after 30 days

If 30 days have passed since delivery, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange.

3) Partial refunds (when applicable)

We may grant a partial refund for:

  • Items not in original condition (not due to our error)

  • Missing parts/accessories (e.g., teaware components)

  • Returns initiated after 30 days but within a reasonable grace period at our discretion

4) Refunds (if applicable)

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to approve or deny the refund.

  • If approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method. Processing typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, subject to your bank/issuer.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t seen your refund:

  1. Check your bank/credit card statement again.

  2. Contact your card issuer; posting times can vary.

  3. Contact your bank.
    If you still don’t see it, email contact@nepaliteatraders.com.

5) Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale/Final Sale items are not refundable unless defective or damaged on arrival.

6) Exchanges (damaged/defective items)

We replace items only if they’re defective or damaged. Email contact@nepaliteatraders.com with photos within 7 days of delivery. If approved, we’ll exchange for the same item (or a comparable item if out of stock).

7) Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once received and approved, we’ll email a gift certificate.

  • If the order was not marked as a gift or shipped to the gift giver, any refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

8) How to start a return

  1. Email contact@nepaliteatraders.com with your order #, the item(s) you’re returning, and the reason.

  2. We’ll reply with approval and instructions.

  3. Pack items securely in the original packaging and include your order # inside the box.

9) Return shipping costs

  • You are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged/defective or we made an error.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, original shipping charges and (if applicable) the cost of a prepaid return label may be deducted from your refund.

  • For items valued over $75, please use a trackable shipping service and/or shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee we will receive your returned item without tracking.

Delivery times for exchanged items vary by destination and carrier.
