Almost all offices supply high-quality coffee for their employees. But, it is quite rare that an office building will have any tea beyond low-quality tea bags. Tea is the most popular beverage in the world, and three cups of tea are consumed for every one cup of coffee.  We believe that tea deserves more attention than it gets in the office!

Tea boasts a long list of benefits which make it an excellent drink for work. First of all, caffeine is a necessity for many workers. While a large amount of caffeine in coffee will cause someone’s energy to rise and crash, the lower level of caffeine in tea supports sustainable alertness. Tea also contains antioxidants, which are known to help prevent diseases such as cancer and heart disease. People who drink three cups of tea per day have also been shown to have a 20% lower risk of stroke 20%, and a 37% lower risk of depression.

Tea bags are a good start, but they really don’t stand up to Loose leaf tea. Bagged tea is often compared to instant coffee by tea connoisseurs. They are often made of the scraps that are too small to be included in loose leaf tea, called fannings. These broken tea leaves make tea more bitter. Also, these tea leaf pieces lose most of their essential oils and aroma, which are very important for a great cup of tea!

So, why don’t you have loose leaf tea at your workplace? It is easy and relatively inexpensive to incorporate into the office. A high-tech teapot like the Breville Tea Maker makes it very easy to brew your tea at the right temperature and for the right amount of time. But, if that is too much of an investment, fillable tea bags or a conventional teapot also work great. Examples of all of these are linked below! And of course, you will need some Nepali Tea Traders tea! Our wholesale option is a great idea for the office.

In this day and age, most of us are glued to our monitors all day. Productivity is emphasized so much that we can forget how important it is to take a break every once in a while! A cup of tea can become part of your daily routine as a reminder to take a step back from your screen. Use the three minutes that your tea needs to steep to take a walk around the office, chat with a coworker, or just take a quick break to check in with yourself. Taking a quick break from working can actually keep you focused!

I enjoyed my first shipment however I am hoping that you will be able to have a new crop of the Everest First Flush and the Sandakuphu Black. Will the next flush be available this year or would have to wait until the spring of 2020? I would order a double or triple of these based on the quality of my first order. Thank you for assisting my tea tastes. I have enjoyed Nepal teas from Upton but their supply has been reduced, so I am happy to find you.
